Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Manager to join our team at Westland Horticulture Ltd, a leading FMCG business in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our brands, championing the product portfolio, and developing strategic marketing plans across the brand portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead the development of new product concepts and gauge trade and consumer response to ensure commercial value to the business.
  • To collaborate with the Technical, Design, and Commercial teams to identify areas of new product opportunity and quantify the commercial benefits.
  • To manage and deliver all consumer communication across the brands, including packaging, literature, advertising, promotions, and POS.
  • To oversee all relevant Customer marketing communications to improve brand awareness and monitor, review, and report on all sales and marketing commercial activity and results to the sales team.
  • To analyze customer research, consumer insight, current market conditions, and competitor information to inform the strategic direction of the brands.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Should have a background in brand management or product marketing, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Should have experience in marketing through all aspects, including new product development, through-the-line media communication, and setting the strategic direction for the brands.
  • Should have a proven track record of growing brands, identifying growth opportunities, and gaining alignment to execute against a strategic growth plan.
  • Should possess commercial awareness, including P&L management, and a love of brands.
