Marks Sattin is excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager within a prominent international organization. This role offers a remarkable chance to become part of a thriving enterprise during a phase of continuous expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Head of Tax & Treasury, the Senior Tax Manager will engage in a comprehensive in-house tax function that includes:
- UK and Irish Corporation Tax and VAT compliance
- Research and Development (R&D) tax credits
- Capital Allowances
- Transfer Pricing
- Pillar 2 compliance
- Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) obligations
- Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) considerations
This position will also require collaboration with international finance teams to oversee their compliance duties and reporting mechanisms.
Project InvolvementBeyond daily tasks, there will be opportunities to participate in various tax initiatives that emerge within the organization.
Candidate ProfileTo be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification
- Experience in a tax-centric position, whether in-house or at a large accounting firm
- Strong UK corporate tax expertise; familiarity with other tax areas is a plus, with comprehensive training available for skill enhancement
In addition to technical tax proficiency, candidates must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal abilities to cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A high level of numeracy and IT competence is essential, along with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
