Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Lead Auditor specializing in Counter Fraud to enhance our expanding and dynamic team. This is a full-time position.

The successful applicant will supervise a senior auditor and play a crucial role in our operational delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess experience from either the public or private sectors, with a solid history of conducting counter fraud assessments. While prior line management experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training and support will be provided. Essential skills for this role include exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, a curious yet professional demeanor, and outstanding communication skills. Full training and guidance on our quality and delivery standards will be available.

Lincolnshire County Council adopts a hybrid working model, combining remote work with office attendance. We offer various corporate discounts and a generous pension scheme. The salary for this position ranges from £40,221 to £44,428 for a full-time schedule (37 hours per week), with pro-rata adjustments for part-time roles. Staff are expected to be present in the office as per management requirements to ensure effective team delivery.

This role is primarily based in Lincoln, with the expectation of delivering services across our Lincolnshire operational areas. A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
