Job Title: Mechanical Service Technician

Location: Rochester

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 / DOE

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 40 hours per week

Company Overview:

Connect Personnel represents a leading hydraulic company in the Southeast, serving various industries including industrial, mobile, and marine markets. They design and manufacture hydraulic products, such as cylinders and power units, and provide reclamation and general engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Collaborate with customers to address repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
  3. Identify sales opportunities during service calls, contributing to the company's growth and success.
  4. Complete all necessary reports and inspections as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  1. City and Guilds or NVQ Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with a good grasp of the English language (verbal and written).
  3. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  4. Current driving license, with a willingness to travel for work-related purposes.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. CSCS Card.
  2. SSSTS or SMSTS.
  3. Confined Space Training.
  4. Forklift truck, MEWP, Crane experience.
