About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team at PrettyLittleThing. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our accessories department, ensuring all products are delivered to a high standard for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Work closely with the senior buying team and our inspirational Buying Director to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Manage open-to-buy and undertake European and Far East trips to source new products and suppliers
  • Collaborate with the design and merchandising teams to develop and maintain product ranges
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure effective inventory management
  • Report key information to Heads and Director level in trading meetings
  • Generate ideas and suggestions to impact the business through promotions and markdowns
  • Monitor and maintain stocks as per KPIs set and manage open-to-buy accordingly
  • Respond to competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Liaise with marketing and e-commerce teams to develop and maintain professional working relationships

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience at Buyer or Junior Buyer level
  • Experience working across multiple deadlines and ability to manage workload effectively
  • Outstanding industry knowledge and ability to identify trends and commercial wins for the brand
  • Ability to support and develop wider team members and ensure approachability to the wider teams
  • Commitment and focus on the role, bringing best energy every day
  • Experience of developing and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Able to travel when the business requires
