THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable and successful business in the agriculture industry. The client is seeking a Sales Manager to join the team where they will take responsibility for the Sales Representatives and continue to manage and maintain current business relationships.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is from a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Team Leader, Team Manager or similar type of role within the agriculture industry.
THE ROLE:
- You will be responsible for 5 sales representatives and support other sales representatives across different departments.
- Conduct weekly 1-1's with reps as well as hold monthly and quarterly sales meetings to ensure new product training, discuss any challenges and provide general support and learning.
- Provide Key Account Management to existing businesses, maintaining strong relationships while growing sales.
- Be a team leader providing support at all levels.
- Become an expert on product range.
- Build up your relevant industry knowledge by keeping up to date with industry trends.
THE PERSON:
- Experience within farming, agriculture or similar is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
