About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen for an Investment Content Marketing Expert with a solid background in pensions and investments to enhance our content marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our investment content strategy and executing plans that align with our overarching Brand & Marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will be tasked with producing engaging content across various formats and channels, collaborating with diverse marketing teams to ensure effective content deployment and performance measurement. Additionally, there will be a close partnership with departments such as Royal London Asset Management to optimize and repurpose existing content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement investment content strategies that align with the overall marketing framework, utilizing suitable formats and media.
  • Ensure that content initiatives contribute to achieving new business goals and support key strategic priorities, including enhancing the Royal London brand.
  • Oversee ongoing content planning and execution, identifying relevant themes for target audiences, including advisers, customers, and employers.
  • Leverage data and insights to continually test, learn, and refine content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to create content that supports significant campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify and engage key internal experts and external partners (including creative agencies and freelancers) to support specific content projects, managing these relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work with various business units to uncover opportunities and translate them into impactful messages and content.

About You

  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, ideally with experience in a similar role or a journalistic background.
  • Proven experience in crafting content for diverse formats and audiences, encompassing both promotional and thought leadership materials.
  • Strong understanding of pensions and investments, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations as they pertain to content creation.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Robust stakeholder management experience.
  • A proactive self-starter, capable of working independently and adapting quickly.
