About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Wessex Water. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our sewage treatment works and water recycling centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance work, including small installation projects.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the effective operation of plant, machinery, and equipment.
  • Perform fault finding, fault diagnosis, and fault resolution.
  • Work with a wide variety of products and equipment.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota covering a larger patch.
Requirements
  • Time-served Electrical Technician with competence in three-phase and single-phase power and control systems.
  • Hold City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or a time-served Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Excellent health and safety awareness and IT literacy.
  • Valid UK driving license for regular travel to various sites.
