Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Siamo Recruitment.

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the performance and maintenance of all electrical apparatus, including High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV), and C&I, instrumentation and DCS at our Energy from Waste Plant in Bridgwater.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and resolve electrical issues
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
