About the Role: As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, supporting with daily living activities, and promoting independence. You will work closely with the team to ensure the gentlemen's needs are met, and their lives are enriched through various activities and therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including PEG feeds and moving and handling.
  • Assist with the use of assistive technology and organize schedules.
  • Support the gentlemen in accessing a wide range of activities, both within the house and in the local community.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of care plans.

Requirements:

  • Confident use of computers and a full UK driving licence are essential.
  • Previous experience in care is preferred, but comprehensive training is provided.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and sleep-in nights.
  • DBS check will be carried out.
