Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee small-scale capital projects from initial concept through to completion. This role encompasses the approval, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring that all designs adhere to safety, efficiency, maintainability, and controllability standards.
- Ensure compliance of assigned projects with all pertinent internal and external standards and requirements.
- Provide expenditure forecasts to the Project Team Manager or designated representative for all assigned projects.
- Conduct chemical and process engineering design for the projects under your purview.
- Engage actively in safety initiatives and fulfill assigned site safety responsibilities.
- Support incident and accident investigations as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date process safety plant information.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in chemical engineering and have relevant industrial experience. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in project management.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in chemical and process engineering design.
- A strong sense of initiative, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently.
