About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Capital Delivery Team in Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering capital projects across Wales, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and motivate the Civil Engineering Team to deliver projects that meet statutory, regulatory, and financial outputs.
  2. Ensure projects are designed and delivered in accordance with Welsh Water's Business Plan and procurement processes.
  3. Participate in training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  4. Comply with the Capital Delivery Health & Safety plan and ensure designs meet CDM Regulations 2015.
  5. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Design experience in the Water Industry.
  • Strong project and people management skills, combined with experience in capital project design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined engineering team environment.
  • Flexibility to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
