Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of acute management and long-term follow-up of patients admitted to the Princess Royal Spinal Injuries Centre, Northern General Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spinal injuries rehabilitation and will be able to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct multi-disciplinary ward rounds, goal planning, and to see out-patients. They will also be expected to participate in research and teaching, as well as participating in a 1 in 6 on-call rota.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national consultant contract and will be expected to be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practice. They will also have completed Specialist Training (or equivalent) and be entered on the Specialist Register of the GMC, or have a CCT date within six months of the date of interview.
