About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Service Operator to join our Field Response team in the Inverness area. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring Scotland has a constant supply of safe, high-quality water.

Key Responsibilities
  • Problem-solve and resolve customer enquiries and network operations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and address water supply problems, including valve shut-offs, burst detection, and more.
  • Work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer or network issues.
  • Provide excellent service to our customers, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Collect and report relevant data, promoting follow-on work to recover service issues and technical requirements.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the water network operations, including DOMS policies, risk assessment method statements, and hygiene codes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to customers.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to work on the standby rota for out-of-hours work.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

We offer a competitive salary range of £29,800 to £35,760, with opportunities for career growth and development.
