We are seeking a skilled and motivated Track Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, inspect, and repair the track network to ensure safe and efficient rail operations.
- Specialize in track maintenance and develop expertise in discipline-specific techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver safe and efficient work delivery.
- Lead the team when required and ensure that all team members have the necessary competencies to meet safety standards.
- Role model safe working behaviors and challenge any potential risks to safety.

- Effective communication skills to deliver clear instructions to the team and other colleagues.
- Technical skills in inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.

- Problem-solving skills to find safe and effective solutions.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills and competencies relevant to the discipline.
- Relevant qualification, such as an NVQ Level 1 or 2, or equivalent level of relevant experience.

- Work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Be comfortable working in different conditions and environments.
