We provide composite engineering services for both unique prototype components and extensive production runs. Role Overview:
The Composite Pattern Specialist will be responsible for the meticulous finishing of prep patterns and moulds, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves working from technical drawings to create moulds and patterns using composite materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finalizing the preparation of patterns and moulds.
- Utilizing a range of hand tools, small pneumatic tools, and abrasive materials to achieve superior finishes on master patterns.
- Applying spray sealant to patterns followed by post-spraying preparation.
- Interpreting technical drawings and adhering to detailed work instructions.
- Contributing to the development of processes aimed at enhancing quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintaining all equipment in optimal condition.
- Ensuring the workspace is organized and clean.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a pattern shop or a comparable setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately.
- Awareness of health and safety protocols.
- Effective verbal communication and listening abilities.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines and remain composed under pressure.
- Experience in a dynamic work environment.
- Adaptable approach to fulfilling job requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
- Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime opportunities available based on workload, with competitive rates.
