Quality Assurance Specialist

Alexander Steele Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading food manufacturer in Oxfordshire, seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to support their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products and identify any quality or food safety issues.
- Support the Quality Manager in ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Participate in mock recall and traceability exercises to maintain product safety.
- Coordinate customer complaints and communicate with relevant parties.
- Generate quality reports and share with stakeholders.
- Highlight quality or food safety issues to management and log actions from internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within food manufacturing.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- HACCP Level 3 or Food Safety Level 3 certification (desirable).
- Food or Science degree (desirable).
What We Offer:
- Circa £34,000 salary.
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Company pension + life insurance.
- 4 on / 4 off working pattern (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts).
