We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Leek. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy, and associated behaviors.

Our home in Leek is rated Good in all areas with OFSTED and has an excellent reputation with the local authorities. We believe that every child deserves to thrive and reach their full potential, and we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages them to do so.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our children, including assisting with daily living tasks, managing behaviors, and promoting independence. You will also be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide a holistic approach to care and support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people. You will need to be able to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends, and be able to communicate effectively with our children, who may have limited communication skills.

Essential

  • Experience in Residential Childcare Environment (Preferred)
  • Level 3 Children's and Young People or equivalent (Preferred but not essential)
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends)
