About the Role

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and promoting our total facilities management packages to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and develop relationships with existing clients to increase sales.
  • Develop and maintain current processes to enhance the team's success rates and ensure compliance throughout the sales and operational delivery processes.
  • Work efficiently and promptly to support a fast-paced environment and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Central Sales Team to create all-encompassing solutions for multi-service opportunities.
  • Produce quotations in line with company policy and ensure thorough handovers are completed for each sale to support operational success.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to support you in achieving your annual target and align with your appointed sales strategy.
  • Communicate professionally and coherently with internal and external contacts.
Requirements
  • Competent Microsoft Office knowledge and diary management skills.
  • Confident customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Able to read and understand scaled drawings to support quotation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude with the desire to drive progression and growth of the team.
  • Experience as a field sales operative is mandatory, and the ability to demonstrate commercial understanding within the FM sector.
  • Able to utilise and record data using in-house CRM.
