We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Consultant to join our People team at Sharp Business Systems France.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the build and development of our internal Learning and Development service, driving effective solutions that support our operational and strategic business plans.
This is a permanent position, based at our offices, with hybrid working arrangements. Travel to other sites is required, and a driving license and own transport are necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement L&D Strategies: Plan and develop an L&D offering, delivering a range of training courses using a blended learning approach.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis: Plan and conduct an organisational Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Manage L&D Budget: Develop and manage the L&D plan and associated budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Evaluate L&D Interventions: Identify and develop evaluation mechanisms to determine the effectiveness of L&D interventions and measure Return on Investment.
- Support Career Pathways: Support the design and implementation of career pathways and succession opportunities across the business to drive retention.
- Implement E-learning Platform: Review and develop an implementation plan to launch the E-learning platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Manage L&D Projects: Undertake and support L&D planned project work, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
- Develop Management Information: Develop management information to record, monitor, and control all L&D activities, providing insights for future development.
- Improve L&D Effectiveness: Continually improve the effectiveness, value for money, and delivery of L&D initiatives, ensuring they meet business needs.
- Negotiate External Provision: Negotiate provision of external learning and development interventions, ensuring best value for money.
- Provide Local Support: Provide tailored, local, and 121 support to address specific knowledge, skills, and competence gaps, ensuring employees have the necessary tools to succeed.
- CIPD Level 5 Diploma: Ideally CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development qualified.
- Extensive Experience: Extensive experience in building, designing, implementing, and evaluating training programmes.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a similar L&D role, ideally across multiple sites.
- Demonstrable Skills: Demonstrable experience and skills in the full training cycle, including needs analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, experience building effective relationships with employees, managers, and external training and apprenticeship providers.
- Proactive Approach: Proactive in identifying training needs and developing appropriate solutions.
- Budget Management: Ability to manage and formulate budgets based on Training Needs Analysis.
- Results Focus: Results-focused, with a desire to see the L&D activity impact on revenue.
