Housekeeping Manager Job Description

Dunluce Lodge, a new 5-star luxury resort in Portrush, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping department. This critical role ensures that all guest accommodations and public areas reflect the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain top-quality cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage inventories of cleaning supplies and linens, adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to enforce cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or luxury resort setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
