Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Primary Care Manager to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of primary care services at HMP Aylesbury, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the primary care team, including clinical and non-clinical staff, to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of primary care services.
- Manage the budget for primary care services, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with Trust policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams and services to ensure seamless care pathways for patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including GPs and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
- Contribute to the development of the Offender Health service, including the implementation of new initiatives and projects.
- Provide leadership and management to staff, including performance management, training, and development.
- Ensure the effective management of patient records and data, including confidentiality and data protection.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Registered healthcare professional with a relevant qualification and experience.
- Proven experience of managing primary care services, including clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
