About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Engagement Officer to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our Centre for the Analysis of Exploitation (CeAnEx), you will play a vital role in identifying and supporting women who are sexually exploited in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct desk-based research on sexual exploitation, combining open-source intelligence with face-to-face work with victims and survivors.
  • Support victims through various activities, including visits to sex work locations and joint working with police and partner agencies.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform our projects, including the FCDO-funded Romania Project and initiatives involving women from various countries.
Requirements
  • Experience in research and analysis, with a strong understanding of sexual exploitation and its impact on vulnerable individuals.
  • Ability to work effectively with victims, police, and partner agencies to achieve project goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform project decisions.
