We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to assist in the development and maintenance of automated systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate robust PLC expertise.
  • Identify and implement strategies for Automation asset categories to mitigate obsolescence, enhance spare parts management, and improve supplier relationships.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, providing technical support for Craft, and conducting hands-on fault diagnosis using PLC/DCS systems.
  • Conduct corrective maintenance within the Electrical/Instrumentation domain.
  • Support criticality assessments, maintenance strategies, and equipment failure analyses.
  • Exhibit a structured approach to leadership and organizational development.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, contractors, specialists, and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Educational background at HNC level (or equivalent) in a technical field.
  • A strong interest or knowledge in Automation.
