Manufacturing Engineering Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cleanroom facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and repair of production equipment, including Air Handling Units, Cochran Steam Boilers, and Chiller plant equipment.
- Perform critical equipment calibrations and address reactive breakdowns.
- Complete preventive maintenance schedules with precision and accuracy.
- Document work orders for traceability and allocate spare parts as needed.
- Coordinate with external contractors and review training documents and Risk Assessment/Method Statements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering role, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical/electronic systems.
- Experience with Alan Bradley PLC, Cochran Steam Boilers, and HVAC/Chiller systems is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across multiple departments.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and GMP compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to prioritize engineering decisions to ensure minimal downtime.
