About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and culturally intelligent Homestay Recruitment Manager to join our team at EF Education First in Oxford. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment and engagement of our homestay community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment, re-registration, and monitoring of suitable homestay and private home accommodation.
  • Organize promotional events to inspire families to host international students.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the homestay program across various channels.
  • Ensure all inquiries from prospective hosts are promptly followed up and sufficient leads are generated to meet targets.
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans to understand host requirements, identify market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve host family targets.
  • Provide weekly recruitment statistics to ensure targets are met.
  • Participate in EF events around Oxford and the surrounding area to recruit homestay providers, including leafleting and street promotions.
  • Share emergency duty on a rota basis and occasionally work weekends during major fairs and events.

  • Sales-oriented and target-driven with an ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality.
  • A flexible approach to work and hours is essential.
  • Highly organized and thorough with the ability to use initiative and work unsupervised.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure.
  • Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitivity to the needs of international students.
  • Right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS check.
