Role Overview: The Director of Sustainable Energy Investments will spearhead collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly focusing on partnerships within the renewable sector. This role is pivotal in developing, structuring, and executing renewable energy initiatives that cater to the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of renewable energy projects, aiming to secure substantial energy generation goals.
  • Engage in project origination, investment evaluation, and commercial structuring, leveraging market insights and expertise.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial models and analytical tools.
  • Prepare and negotiate bids for the procurement of new renewable assets and energy projects.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments including Legal, Tax, and Asset Management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assess regulatory and operational risks associated with energy investments and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate the investment management phase, preparing comprehensive investment documentation for decision-making bodies.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in managing renewable energy projects and transactions.
  • Proven commercial acumen and project management capabilities.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in Private Equity or investment roles within the energy sector is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
