About the Role:

ARU is pleased to collaborate with various police forces in the Eastern Region to provide training for future law enforcement professionals. This initiative is part of a newly developed educational framework aimed at enhancing the professional standards within policing.

The Police Education Qualification Framework (PEQF) is designed to elevate the educational requirements for those entering the policing profession. ARU has been selected to deliver educational training for two distinct entry pathways: the three-year Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA), which integrates academic learning with practical experience, and the two-year Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) for candidates who already possess a degree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging educational content through lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
  • Contribute to the review and enhancement of educational programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the development and design of course materials.
  • Travel to various police establishments to present academic resources.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree and possess experience in teaching and quality assurance within a higher education environment. Familiarity with policing methodologies is essential. This position requires successful completion of a background check.
