Chemistry Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Instructor to join our client's academic team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry across Level 1 to Level 3, including Access to nursing courses. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Chemistry and a passion for education.

1. Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Chemistry to students across various levels, from Level 1 to Level 3, including Access courses.
2. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect the curriculum and the educational needs of the students.
3. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
4. Provide academic support and guidance to students during office hours.
5. Stay current with developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate new findings into the curriculum.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching within the department.

1. A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
2. Prior experience in teaching or lecturing, preferably in a post-secondary education setting.
3. Strong understanding of the subject matter and the ability to convey complex concepts to students of varying levels of ability.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student success.
6. Flexibility to work 3 days a week, from Wednesday to Friday.
