Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for upholding cleanliness and organization within the kitchen. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards and supporting the culinary team during service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and compliant with Food & Beverage policies.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen areas, tools, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring stock rotation.
  • Inspect and organize cleaned items, managing soiled items efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of trashcans and disposal areas.
  • Adhere to food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Care for all kitchen equipment and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Participate in training programs related to health and safety.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by management.
