Role Overview:

The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in upholding cleanliness and order within the kitchen environment. We seek a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced culinary setting, adept at managing preparation and service tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all equipment used during shifts (including dishware, utensils, and cleaning tools) adheres to established Food & Beverage policies and standards.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning machinery and tools, including dishwashers and hand wash stations.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tools, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring the correct rotation of stock.
  • Inspect and organize cleaned items, returning soiled items for re-cleaning as necessary.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in trash areas.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Participate in training sessions related to health and safety standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
