We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our well-structured team due to the growth of our service and an enhanced model of care. About the Role:The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and planning care for patients, including prescribing medications where clinically indicated. They will manage acute presentations to the Walk-In Centre as part of a team of autonomous practitioners, using their clinical knowledge and skills to determine urgency and best pathway for patients presenting to the Walk-in Centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Face-to-face consultations with patients
- Undertaking urgent primary care and referring elsewhere when applicable
- Providing patient-focused, evidence-based practice to a high standard
- Supporting the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure patients are seen by the right person
- A competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum (FTE) + unsociable hours
- NHS Pension with 20.6% employer contribution
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service (pro rata for part-time)
- Extra days leave for work anniversary each year
- Up to 5 days per year Special and Significant Event Leave
- Unsocial hours payment at 30%, Monday to Friday after 6pm and all-day Saturday and Sunday
- NMC/HCPC fees paid annually

- Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills - Level 7

- A Non-medical prescribing qualification
- Minimum 3-year experience post-level 7 qualifications in primary/urgent post-qualification
- Paediatric Course - Level 7 (desirable)
- Ability to see and treat patients with varying conditions
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
- Excellent organisational skills
