We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea, a leading engineering consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for a variety of projects across different sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver coordinated, collaborative, and innovative electrical design solutions that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
- Work closely with experienced engineers to develop and deliver electrical design solutions that are technically excellent and meet the required standards.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and take a brief from the project lead on large projects, delivering and controlling the tasks required.
- Responsible for the quality of our outputs and ensure that they meet the required standards.
- Identify when outsourcing is required, such as design and CAD work.
- Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering.
- Thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
- Previous consultancy experience, with an appreciation of the importance of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering, and computer modeling in the design of buildings.
- Autonomous approach, with the ability to lead small to medium-sized projects and take a brief from the project lead on large projects.
- Ability to identify opportunities for career development and provide support for the career development of others.
