Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabric Technologist to join our Materials team at QHQ Ltd. As a key member of our Product Department, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, developing, and producing premium quality fabrics and materials that meet our brand's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fabric strategies to drive product aesthetics, commercial viability, and performance attributes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure standards and specifications are met, and deadlines are achieved.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative fabrics and materials that meet our brand's quality and sustainability goals.
  • Work closely with the Product team to ensure expected quality standards and deadlines are upheld throughout the production process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabric and materials suppliers to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Responsible for fabric development, testing, and problem-solving to ensure high-quality products.
  • Contribute to the development of materials elements of our compliance and sustainability goals and targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fabric development, sourcing, and production.
  • Strong understanding of technical and performance fabrics, finishes, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with suppliers in EU and Asia.
  • Knowledge and experience of sustainability a plus.
