Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabric Technologist to join our Materials team at QHQ Ltd. As a key member of our Product Department, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, developing, and producing premium quality fabrics and materials that meet our brand's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fabric strategies to drive product aesthetics, commercial viability, and performance attributes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure standards and specifications are met, and deadlines are achieved.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new fabric opportunities and trends.
- Work closely with the Product team to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with fabric and materials suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Contribute to the development of materials elements of our compliance and sustainability goals and targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fabric development, sourcing, and production.
- Strong understanding of technical and performance fabrics, finishes, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental considerations in fabric development.
