HGV Class 1 CE Driver Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 CE driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting mail items and parcels throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle, following a planned route from our client's site in Norwich to customers and other depots across the UK.
  • Transport mail items and parcels, maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating a friendly customer service.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the role, including a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC, and DIGI Cards.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience, with at least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Able to work on tight schedules while maintaining high safety standards.
