Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 CE driver to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for driving a Class 1 vehicle, transporting mail items and parcels throughout the UK, while maintaining high integrity standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle, following a planned route from the client's site in Norwich to customers and other depots across the UK.
  • Transport mail items and parcels, while maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating a friendly customer service.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the role, including a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC, and DIGI Cards.
  • Have a strong work ethic, be reliable, flexible, and able to work on tight schedules while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience and MUST have driven Class 1 for at least 6 months in the last 2 years

  • Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points
