AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our nuclear safety engineering team, you will play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients, helping them achieve their low-carbon energy ambitions and shaping a better future for our planet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to produce hazards assessments and author complex safety cases
  • Justify and support critical decision-making in nuclear facility design, operation, and decommissioning
  • Influence client strategic direction to support nuclear site licence applications
  • Network to develop business pipelines and present technical solutions to stakeholders

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse clients from defence, nuclear generation, and nuclear new build, including innovative players from the fusion and SMR markets. You will have the drive to deliver excellent technical work, paying attention to detail without missing the bigger picture.
