Role Overview

As an Advanced HGV Technician Trainee, you will play a crucial role in our workshop environment, ensuring the highest standards of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Workshop Supervisor, overseeing daily operations.
  • Provide 24/7 roadside support to our network across the region.

Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all on-site health and safety regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance:
Maintain the workshop vehicle in a clean and organized condition, both inside and out.

Daily Operations:
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle and manage customer expectations effectively during roadside assistance and workshop handover.

Contractual Information
  • Standard workshop hours: 7 hours per day.
  • Overtime compensation at 150% of the standard rate.
  • Work on Sundays and Bank Holidays compensated at 200% of the standard rate.
  • Quarterly performance bonus of £400, contingent on maintaining an average response time below 60 minutes with no refusals.
  • Standby payment of £120 for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
