Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Early Years Educator to lead our nursery room. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our children, while also supervising and supporting your team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example and motivating your team to provide exceptional care and education
  • Developing and implementing learning and teaching objectives to ensure all children have rich and stimulating experiences
  • Ensuring the individual needs of all children are met, including those with special educational needs
  • Conducting team appraisals and providing feedback and support to team members
  • Working in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery

About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Level 3 or above qualification in early years
  • Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner)
  • Demonstrable leadership experience (within Early Years)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
