This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our Buying Department and develop alongside our company. While prior buying experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite, as we provide training for the right candidate. The successful applicant will need to be proficient in Excel and comfortable with daily data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee offers and orders from current suppliers.
  • Identify and cultivate new suppliers for product ranges, brands, and categories to stimulate growth.
  • Conduct product research for various marketplaces and curate product lines tailored to specific markets.
  • Perform regular competitor analysis to maintain competitive pricing and product offerings.
  • Manage budgeting for purchasing activities.
  • Procure office and logistics supplies.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to lower costs while fostering strong relationships.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability and lead times.
  • Identify cost-saving and business improvement opportunities.
  • Consistently work to reduce purchase costs.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Forecast, allocate, and replenish stock to optimize sales and conversion rates.
  • Negotiate exclusive offers with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and manage import/export documentation.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure all purchased products are accurately listed on the website.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan product promotions.
  • Work closely with marketing to analyze market trends and source new brands and products accordingly.
  • Evaluate product performance by type and marketing channel, identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Generate product performance reports and track buying KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills are essential, as this role heavily relies on data analysis using Excel.

  • Previous logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
