About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our team in London, focusing on Northern EMEA (NEMEA) telecommunications & broadband customers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving major enterprise telco accounts in the region, building on a strong existing footprint to accelerate growth in this key vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the NEMEA region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts across all hierarchies, ensuring all their post-sales needs are being met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Appian Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, and Solution Consulting to provide support and tools for sales success
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive sales performance
  • Provide regular status updates, including forecast and pipeline information, to ensure alignment with sales goals
Requirements
  • Proven track record in selling transformative software applications/projects to major customers
  • Strong understanding of the sales process within the Telco industry, with a focus on digital transformation and customer experience initiatives
  • High energy and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, and curiosity, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to travel within assigned region, working closely with Managers and SI partners, with occasional travel outside of region required
