About the Role

Gower College Swansea is a leading educational institution in Wales, renowned for its high-quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city, serving over 4,500 full-time learners and 10,000 part-time learners. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and teach students within the electrical installation sector via NVQs, cost recovery, technical certificates, and taught sessions.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver assessments across a range of courses, ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards.
  • Plan and deliver over 12 hours per week of training to learners as required.
  • Hold Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above literacy and numeracy qualifications.
  • Proven track record of working in an engineering/electrical setting.
  • Commercial knowledge, experience, and understanding of industry, including training needs.
