Mobile Vehicle Adaptation Specialist

AIC operates within a specialized and fulfilling sector, making independent mobility achievable for all by customizing vehicles to meet each client's unique requirements. With a diverse range of over two hundred modifications, every day presents new challenges.

The expansion of our Cardiff branch allows us to enhance our installation team, and we are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Installation Technician.

This position offers a dynamic work environment, job fulfillment, travel to various locations, a high degree of independence, and the rewarding experience of positively impacting people's lives.

As our Automotive Installation Technician, you will report to the Workshop Manager and:

  • Deliver a professional installation service for all our products.
  • Travel as necessary to various customer and dealership locations.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and supportive manner.
  • Adhere to a structured weekly and daily schedule.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.

We will provide a comprehensive induction and training program, along with ongoing support to ensure your success in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess experience as an Automotive Mechanic or Engineer, with extensive knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics, Electrics, and Body Structure, having completed a structured training program or recognized Apprenticeship.

Additionally, you should:

  • Exhibit flexibility and a commitment to high standards.
  • Hold a recognized qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or a related field.
  • Have a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems.
  • Possess a valid Driving License and be willing to travel for installations.
  • Demonstrate a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the branch.
  • Show a strong capability to deliver excellent customer service.
