MAN Commercial Protection is seeking dedicated Security Officers to support a dynamic Distribution center.
We offer a Part-Time role with a 3 on 6 off shift pattern, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties within the site's security framework.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage reception tasks, including badge printing and access control.
- Monitor alarms and conduct CCTV investigations to ensure site safety.
- Control access for visitors, staff, and contractors, upholding security protocols.
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
- Adhere to site procedures outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and promptly report any incidents or accidents.
- Perform gatehouse duties, verifying driver identification and conducting vehicle inspections.
- Screen and search individuals as required, maintaining a secure environment.
- A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence is mandatory. A CCTV Licence is advantageous but not essential.
- You must possess a 5-year verifiable work or education history.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with various systems.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be capable of creating comprehensive incident reports with clarity and detail.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards colleagues and visitors alike.
