Job Title: Product Developer

Bioworld International is seeking an experienced Product Developer to join our team. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for developing products from concept to production, ensuring they meet customer, safety, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up Tech Pack information with the design team, adding all technical requirements and information needed for accurate costing and sampling.
  • Ensure Lab dips, Print/Application strike-offs, Base and Bulk fabrics, Trims, etc. are correct and submitted to required Critical path dates.
  • Check and fit all samples received and provide feedback comments to suppliers.
  • Arrange fit and Pre-production meetings with customers as needed to obtain final fit/technical sign-off to confirm shipment of product.
  • Manage the technical critical paths for both development and production styles, providing weekly updates on status per customer to the Sales, Merchandising, and Operations teams as required.
  • Review and understand relevant supplier manuals and technical procedures for all accounts and ensure you are up to date with all order-related processes.
  • Ensure all product is in line with UK and EU requirements for safety on children's items and accessories as required.
  • Request and evaluate AQL reports for all your account styles/orders prior to shipment being approved to leave the factory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with factories, in-country offices, and customers you support and work with, having weekly/regular calls to discuss live developments/orders.
  • Arrange spot checks on banned and restricted substances as part of due diligence requirements.
  • General housekeeping of systems and physical files for style and test report archiving.
