Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Private Client Tax Manager to join a reputable Top 10 chartered accountancy practice based in the UK. This position is ideal for an experienced Manager looking to take on a hands-on role with a well-established practice that has an excellent reputation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing personal tax returns for a diverse range of clients
  • Overseeing a small team of tax professionals
  • Monitoring tax return progress to ensure timely completion and submission to HMRC
  • Advising tax clients of tax liabilities due on a timely basis
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure accurate and prompt completion of tax returns
  • Dealing with technical queries, including IHT, Trusts, Estates, Wills, CGT, EIS, SEIS, shares, employment tax, and other areas
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Dealing with routine HMRC enquiries

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CTA / ACA / ACCA qualification
  • A minimum of 4 years' personal tax experience within a practice environment
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks where necessary
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in dealing with non-doms and HNWIs
