About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of EU Research Funding to join our Research Development team at Nottingham Trent University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure EU funding for research projects, as well as providing guidance and support to researchers and academics in the preparation and submission of funding applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure EU funding for research projects
  • Provide guidance and support to researchers and academics in the preparation and submission of funding applications
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including EU funding agencies and research partners
  • Monitor and report on EU funding trends and opportunities
Requirements
  • Proven experience in EU research funding, including securing funding for research projects and providing guidance to researchers and academics
  • Strong knowledge of EU funding policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
