About the Role: LT Selection is thrilled to collaborate with a prominent educational organization in search of a dedicated and skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is centered around attracting learners for various training and pre-employment initiatives. The ideal candidate will cultivate and sustain relationships with Job Centre Plus personnel, community service referral partners, and local businesses to ensure effective learner recruitment.

Job Summary: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be instrumental in enrolling learners into training programs aimed at enhancing their skills and improving their employment prospects. You will closely engage with referral agencies and local employers to identify potential learners, assess their needs, and guide them towards suitable educational pathways. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture productive working relationships with Job Centre Plus staff, community services, and local employers.
  • Facilitate the enrollment of prospective learners into relevant programs of study and direct them to pertinent job opportunities.
  • Utilize a variety of Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG) tools, including Training Needs Analysis, Skill Checks, and employability assessments to evaluate and enroll learners.
  • Coordinate with Job Centre Plus and other referral agencies to identify and recruit prospective learners.
  • Promote the program and forge strong connections with local employers to create pathways into employment.
  • Conduct marketing initiatives and presentations to raise awareness of the program among referral agencies.
  • Provide employability support and guidance to learners, assisting them in becoming job-ready.
  • Effectively manage and plan caseloads to ensure each learner receives a personalized and positive experience.
  • Monitor and track learner recruitment to ensure targets are met while maintaining accurate records for compliance.
  • Implement safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners.

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruiting adults in Further Education using IAG.
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with partners and achieve contractual targets.
  • Proficient in conducting skills assessments and action planning with learners.
  • Familiarity with government unemployment support programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, database management, and Word.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners.
