We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with service users in their homes and communities, providing holistic and person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of induction, training, and education of students and staff.
- Provide effective supervision, support, and guidance for support workers and any work delegated to them.
- Deliver individual care plans for a caseload and implement policies as directed by the trust/directorate for the department.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, and emotional information using a variety of mediums.
- A recognised OT professional qualification and registration with the HCPC.
- Post-qualified experience within home treatment teams and managing defined caseloads of service users with occupational needs.
- Experience of being involved in service developments or audits is desirable.
